Having spent decades around celebrities, athletes, and billionaires, UFC CEO Dana White was asked to name the worst person he ever met. Without hesitation, he called out Sean Combs, better known as P. Diddy.
During an appearance on *The Katie Miller Podcast*, White unleashed a blistering critique of the music mogul, recalling an incident years ago at a charity event hosted by skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.
“Diddy. 100%,” White said. “The biggest douchebag ever, P. Diddy. Tony Hawk used to host charity events. When my kids were little, you’d go to those things and lots of celebrities would be there. Everyone did things for each other’s kids.”
White continued: “So I brought my niece to one of them, held at Ron Burkle’s house. Diddy showed up, and my niece was excited—like, ‘Oh my God, P. Diddy’s here!’ I said, ‘Awesome, go take a picture with him.’ She came back, and I asked, ‘Did you get a picture?’ She said, ‘No, they were scary.’”
According to White, the event was supposed to be casual and family-friendly, with celebrities mingling and taking photos with children. Instead, Diddy arrived with a 10-man security team and ended up frightening the kids.
“The guy shows up with f—– 10 security guards. Ten security at a kids’ event!” White said. “And they were rude to her and scared her. That’s who was listening to your f—– music, okay? That’s who was a fan. Are you kidding me? And that’s how you treat a girl who just wanted a picture?”
White also revealed that Conor McGregor had a similar experience with Diddy years later. The UFC superstar was reportedly a fan of the rapper before meeting him at a UFC event, but the encounter changed his mind.
“Conor McGregor was a P. Diddy fan,” White added. “He met him at a UFC event, I think, and wanted to punch him in the face when he met him. So, yeah.”
Given Diddy’s legal troubles, the remarks carry extra weight. Once one of the most influential figures in music and entertainment, Combs was convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and is currently serving a federal sentence while appealing.
White’s criticism also touches on Diddy’s past ties to Donald Trump, who helped save the UFC and now hosts major MMA events at the White House. Trump and Combs moved in the same New York celebrity circles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and Trump once called Diddy a “friend” on *The Celebrity Apprentice* in 2012. That friendship reportedly ended when Trump entered politics, with Diddy becoming openly hostile after the 2016 campaign.
“I know people are thinking about it,” Trump said last year. “I know they are. I think people have been very close to asking. First of all, I’d look at what’s happening, and I haven’t been watching too closely, but it’s certainly getting attention.”
