Málaga supporters are gearing up for a major away-day trip to Ceuta. Fans traveling to the autonomous city will have to cross via Algeciras or Tarifa, then take the iconic ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar.
Ceuta allocated Málaga 337 tickets priced at €20 each. Unsurprisingly, they sold out instantly.
In response, the Ceuta club made additional tickets available from Monday, April 11 at 5:00 PM local time, at affordable prices for all fans. Prices are €25 for the Goal End, €30 for the Preferente, and €40 for the Tribune, with no distinction between Ceuta and Málaga supporters.
The two fanbases enjoy an excellent relationship, and this match has not been classified as high-risk by the National Sports Office (OND).

Additionally, Málaga announced it would cover the price difference between the regular away section (€20) and the newly cordoned-off area offered by Ceuta at €40. This gesture is rare in modern football, where strict measures are often enforced to separate fan groups and restrict away fans from buying tickets on matchday.
So how many Málaga fans will eventually attend? Ceuta has about 5,000 season ticket holders, and the actual capacity of the Alfonso Murube stadium is around 5,600 spectators.
It is expected that nearly 500 Málaga fans will make the trip, marking the largest visiting support ever for Ceuta’s stadium.
Looking back at the first-leg match at La Rosaleda, there was a fantastic atmosphere with around 1,500 Ceuta fans present. That day saw 27,286 spectators at Martiricos, with complete cordiality between the two fanbases—a bond that began in the 2023-24 season when both teams played in Primera RFEF. Ceuta won the home match 3-2, while the return leg ended 1-1.

Tickets Sold Out… for Racing
But there’s more.
Málaga put tickets on sale for next week’s match against Racing. They sold out within 18 hours, such is the anticipation. Around 500 of those tickets were allocated for Racing fans in a high-voltage clash where Málaga could seal a return to La Liga after 14 years—or could already be promoted if they win this weekend and Almería or Deportivo slip up.

Only Málaga season ticket holders were eligible to purchase tickets this week, with a 30% discount, and they could buy up to four seats for a match where Málaga can move closer to the promotion playoff. Surpassing the 28,954 spectators who attended Deportivo-Leganés is a distinct possibility.
