
The Russian national team has unveiled a 36-man extended roster for their upcoming international fixtures. On May 28, the squad will face Egypt in Cairo, before returning to Russia for two more matches: June 5 against Burkina Faso in Volgograd, and June 9 against Trinidad and Tobago in Kaliningrad.
The extended list includes three players currently plying their trade abroad: Alexander Golovin (Monaco), Alexey Miranchuk (Atlanta United), and Amir Ibragimov, a midfielder from Manchester United’s youth team. Notably, Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Matvey Safonov did not make the cut.

Lokomotiv Moscow leads with seven call-ups, followed by CSKA with six, while Spartak and Dynamo Moscow each have four representatives.
In March, Russia played two home friendlies, drawing 0-0 with Mali and defeating Nicaragua 3-1. The team is now preparing for a busy summer schedule as they continue to build chemistry under head coach Valery Karpin.
